| My very good friend Ernie qualified for the D1 as 1 of 8 US drivers and was the only one who made the final 16 cuts taking out several of the Japan D1 drivers in the process. He ran against Imamura (APEXi FD currently ranked #1 in D1GP 2003) and they had to have another run to try to settle it...but it was pretty settled after the first runs but Option ran them again to save face. They then had Imamura as the "winner" when the whole crowd and all of us in the staging area including a few of the Japan D1 drivers who I was with watching it agreed. Too bad they have such shitty politics. Those who saw it know who won and the videos show it as well.
